The BCMDA along with other partners in the tourism community was part of the Border Kei Chamber of Commerce Tourism committee strategic planning session, the engagement was held at the picturesque Olivewood Private Estate and Golf Club on the 20 of June2025.
The aim of the session was to develop a strategic action plan on how to improve the tourism sector of Metro as well as the Kie region. The session consisting of multiple stakeholders including amongst others, Ncuthu Tours, Imonti Tours, BCM Tourism, Southern Sun- Garden Court, the Airports Company -SA and the Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency in attendance.
The engagement was very constructive and was able to identified tangible, practical programmes and projects targeted at making the Metro and Kie region one of the most vibrant and compelling tourist destinations in the country.
